Apple, LG, Motorola, NEC, Nokia, Qualcomm, Research in Motion, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, si Texas Instruments au convenit sa standardizeze incarcatoarele pentru telefoanele mobile din Europa.
Conectorul folosit va fi micro-USB si vine in urma deciziei Uniunii Europene de a reduce deseurile electronice.
